Speleos got Engaged
Spe suggests they go back to Nacional 27 to celebrate the romantic holiday. As they are waiting for dinner the conversation goes as follows:
Spe: Remember the last time we were here?
Jen: Yes
Spe: And your ring fell off you finger?
Jen: Yes
Spe (moving back the table): And I had to move back the table?
Jen: Yes
Spe (getting down on one knee): And I had to get down on my knees to find it?
Jen: Yes
Spe: And handed you this (open a black velvet box containing Yia Yia's pear-shaped engagement ring.)
Jen: Oh, Speleos!
Spe: I knew on our 2nd date that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. This ring was given to my grandmother 70 years ago by my grandfather and namesake Speleos George and I'd be very honored if you accepted it. You make me very happy. And I love you. And I love you...and you're not saying anything...!?
Jen: You've not asked me anything!
Spe: Oh, will you marry me?
Jen: Yes!
Side note: both being salespeople, Jen mentioned to Spe that he had forgotten to ask for the sale, to which Spe replied, 'I know, instead I went in for the post implementation close! Oh, and I also wanted to ask you one more thing...' Jen said, 'What's that?' And Spe replied 'May I fill your dance card for the rest of your life?'
